Reefside Plumbing started in 1998 with Dave Murray and his old work ute. Twenty-six years on, we're still locally owned and run out of Garbutt — now with five tradies, three apprentices, and three generations of Murrays on the books.

We're not a franchise. We don't sell leads to overseas call centres. When you phone us, you talk to someone who lives in Townsville and knows the difference between a Riverside Gardens reno and an Idalia new-build.

No — quotes are free for any job we can give a fixed price on after a phone call or on-site look. For complex work (slab leaks, multi-room renos), we charge a small inspection fee that gets credited back if you book us for the job.

QBCC licensed plumbers and gas fitters, with $20 million public liability insurance. Members of the Master Plumbers Association of Queensland. We issue compliance certificates for every job that needs one.

Yes — all our plumbers are also licensed gas fitters. Cooktops, hot water, BBQ points, gas leak detection, and gas compliance certificates for property sales. Both natural gas and LPG.

Cash, EFTPOS on the truck, bank transfer, and credit card (1.2% surcharge on credit). Invoices are sent same day. For larger jobs we accept 30-day terms with approved customers.
